The versatile and compact MA206 Line Array makes the sound of U2’s 3D-Rock Concert organized by SOLERCINE, LUSOMUNDO and MASTER AUDIO in Lisbon. Delivering high-quality sound reinforcement MA206 Two-Way Line Array shows its features: weight-light, reliable and outstanding sound quality. After concert there was a technical workshop placed on April´08, where the sound experts’ remarks: “Likewise, a remarkable part of the system is the electronic configuration, with a practical and ingenious solution, in defence of economical competitively. The basic set MA-206 is formed by 4 units acoustically equal. But the superior unit incorporates the electronic set with class D amplifiers and DSP digital processor, while the other three units are passive slaves of the first one. The Class D amplification has modules of 1000W for the woofers 6,5” (8 units) and another of 500W for the drivers (4 units)”. As consequence i¡of this event, MASTER AUDIO has achieved better consideration into the portuguese market. Particularly, the MA206, very appreciated for his acoustic performance, includes the advanced technology: Light neodymium transducers, in a bass-reflex acoustic design of direct radiation for the low section with two woofers of 6,5”. The acoustic part is completed with a 1.7´´ pure titanium diaphragm neodymium driver coupled to a cast aluminium planar wave guide that allows generating a flat response so the possibility of cancellation between speakers is practically null, carrying out with the indispensable requirements that must present any line array system. At the same time advanced construction techniques and hybrid materials provide exceptionally rigid, lightweight enclosure construction. The DSP device set up in the interior, 100% designed by Amate Electroacústica s.l. R+D, includes all the control of parameters, equalizing, protections, delay, limiters, etc. Low weight: the active unit MA-206D weighs only 17Kg, and the passive MA-206P, 13Kg! As a low reinforcement to extend low frequencies, an enclosure, MAW-115D, in bass-reflex configuration has been designed in 15” ND woofer (4” voice coil) with a class D amplification unit of 1000W. It also includes the DSP device that allows external control and parameterisation from PC. |
